Hi. My name is Betsy Wharton and I am so glad you found your way to the The CCC Kitchen Farm webpage. If you haven't tried my pickles yet, beware. They are habit forming.

I’ve been pickling "professionally" since 2010. It’s been a lot of work and a lot of fun and some days I think I have lost my mind. But vinegar will do that to you.

As I travel along this briny path, I have become a pickle zealot and a wild-eyed preservationist promoting the appreciation of all things sour and salty. I've pickled other things too; like green tomatoes and mustard seeds, and have pressed onward with my preservation prowess. Thank you for joining us on this wild journey into the world of deliciously preserved farm-to-table goods.

The Clallam Canning Company is an artisanal purveyor of delicious pickles and other farm to jar condiments and beverages located in Port Angeles, WA. Founded in 2010 with Betsy’s grandmother’s Bread & Butter recipe, the CCC has has developed over a dozen recipes including a variety of shelf cucumber pickles, naturally fermented krauts, chutney and a variety of brines and shrubs.

The CCC is committed to healthful and delicious recipes, made with ingredients sourced from small farms on the Olympic Peninsula
