Hi. My name is Betsy Wharton and I am so glad you found your way to my pickle page. I hope that means you love my recipes and you are back for more. If you haven't tried my pickles yet, beware. They are habit forming.

I’ve been pickling for most of my adult life, but it has only been in the last two years that I have put some of my recipes on the market. It’s been a lot of work and a lot of fun and some days I think I have lost my mind. But vinegar will do that to you.

As I travel along this briny path, I have become a pickle zealot. A wild-eyed preservationist promoting the appreciation of all things sour and salty. I stand before you today, a pickled politician committed to the elevation of the pickle in our society. Not only are pickles nutritious and delicious, but 'pickle' rhymes with 'tickle' and that is sure to bring a smile to your face.

For me and my family, pickles and pleasure make a perfect pair. We eat them almost everyday.
And once you have your first taste of Betsy’s Pickles, you may find that you too have become passionate about pickles. 'Betsy's Bread & Butter Pickles' will find their way onto your dinner table. No appetizer plate will seem complete without a good wine, a handmade cheese and a jar of 'Betsy’s Garlic or Spicy Dills.'
